About

Our team

D.I. (Destination Imagination) is a fun opportunity for kids to be creative and use their imagination to solve problems. Each year, D.I. teams can choose from six different challenges. You have a few months to work on your team’s challenge before you present your work to the judges at Regionals, which is the first competition. If you get 1st , 2nd or 3rd place, you move on to State. That is when you compete against teams from all over your state. If you come in 1st , 2nd or 3rd at State, you get to go to Globals in Knoxville, Tennessee. That is the last competition for D.I. If you win Globals, you win the year of D.I.

For me, Abigail, and my three teammates, this is a great way for us to get creative. Last year, our team got to go to Tennessee. It was a great experience and we had a great time.

Our team has been together for four years at Bromwell Elementary school. We have lost some members, but two new members joined last year. Bromwell has helped us a lot and we are very thankful.  We are all great friends and are a great team. It is super fun and I hope a lot of people will have the same experience that our team had.
